Welcome and Congratulations to our five new priests!
Congratulations to the five newly ordained priests, who were welcomed into the priesthood during a joyful celebration at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception. On the sunny morning of June 21, Cardinal Robert W. McElroy opened the annual Priesthood Ordination Mass for the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Washington, proclaiming, “Today I have tidings of great joy” to the large assembly of faithful.
The newly ordained priests — Father Marco Cerritelli, Father Gerard Gayou, Father Louis McHale, Father Daniel Morrison, and Father Chukwuma Odigwe — brought with them diverse backgrounds and personal journeys, united by a shared vocation to serve. More than 125 priests concelebrated the Mass in front of a packed Basilica.

Managed by volunteers, Heavenly Presents is a Catholic store ministry of the Bread of Life Center for Peace – a non profit Catholic organization serving our Catholic community.
Store hours are offered beginning at 10AM Tuesday through Saturday. Visit them on Facebook or at: breadoflifecenterforpeace.org. The store is closed Sunday and Monday.
